Soul Time With Mary

Here we are—Divine Beings having and using a human experience to Awaken—to remember who and what we truly are. Who knew that part of the journey would involve being caught in the illusion of Spiritual amnesia—having forgotten who and what we are and the Spiritual purpose of our choosing embodiment. Having been blessed with the learning devices of a body, mind, and emotions and in harmony with your Soul’s unique Spiritual curriculum, we identify with the ego and create the false narrative of the separate self. As John Lennon said, “Living is easy with eyes closed, misunderstanding all you see.”

Consider for a moment that through embodying in the Earth School, you have gained admission to series of Masterclasses designed by Spirit and your Soul, overseen by your Inner Master… your High Self… your Soul… and enthusiastically endorsed by Father-Mother God… Lord God of All Creation. What a setup! You are a Divine Being having and using a human experience for the purpose of Awakening—and further, for Remembering… David Whyte so beautifully expressed the extraordinary opportunity of a human life in these words excerpted from his poem, “What to Remember When Awakening”:

To become human

is to become visible

while carrying

what is hidden

as a gift to others.

To remember

the other world

in this world

is to live in your

true inheritance.

​

You are not

a troubled guest

on this earth,

you are not

an accident

amidst other accidents,

you were invited

from another and greater

night than the one

from which

you have just emerged.

The Awareness of life as a Masterclass has catalyzed Awareness of additional Beautiful Questions and some wonderful reflections. Fortunately, I have the benefit of both altitude and the long view on the richness, many growth and learning opportunities, as well as the abundance of Blessings in my life.

Ron and I were talking this morning, and I asked him if he missed his job at USM. He said, “No, I don’t miss it. I completed what I came to do.” I responded, “You graduated from that position.” And he said, “Yes.”

He then asked me, “Do you miss your job at USM?” And I replied, “No, I don’t miss my job.” Then Ron said, “Mary, you eventually outgrew it. You gained mastery. You grew in Wisdom and Loving through many, many years of service. When true learning has occurred, there’s no need to continue repeating the lesson. You have the Blessing of longevity. I believe Spirit has some very beautiful opportunities and Blessings in store for you.”

As I reflected on what Ron shared with me, I realized I have matriculated in another Masterclass with new Golden Opportunities. Aging itself is certainly a Masterclass. Witnessing simultaneously the sunset and sunrise of Ron’s untethering is a very powerful Masterclass in Loving wholeheartedly without attachment—and living in the Precious Presence.

Beauty has certainly been a lifelong, Divinely orchestrated Masterclass informing my entire life. I learned very early to see the Loving Essence in others, to see their inherent Goodness… their God-ness… and giftedness. I came with gifts of Empathy and Compassion. I experience so much Beauty in physical-world reality. This world truly is magical, mystical. We are Co-creators with the Divine. May we walk in Beauty and bring Blessings wherever we go.

Three of John-Roger’s foundational precepts are “Out of God come all things. Not one Soul will be lost. God loves all of its creation.” Surely, we are all enrolled in a Masterclass in learning to see through God’s eyes, or perhaps more accurately, for God’s eyes to see through me. The Beauty of Spirit is ineffable, inspiring experiences that prompt us to open our Spiritual Eyes… and to hear with the Ear of our Heart.

Consider this, there’s an invisible choir of angels singing celestial melodies calling you into Remembrance of your Essential Loving Nature. We are continuously cradled yet rocked Awake by the Light of Living Love… serenaded by Beautiful Music… the Infinite Sound that emanates from the Heart of God.

What is astonishing and miraculous to me is that the Principles and Practices of Spiritual Psychology are universal… relevant… practical… and life changing… regardless of the classroom in which you find yourself. Case in point, How you relate to the issue is the issue. And how you relate with yourself while you go through the issue is the issue.

These Principles and Practices are designed to assist you in embracing a Learning Orientation to Life… for moving from what appears as mishigas on the Goal Line of physical-world reality, the “I’m upset because… ” of the emotions and the judgments, misunderstandings, and misinterpretations of the mind—to your Spirit-inspired Soul Line opportunities for learning, healing, and revelation of your Soul Self.

I take great solace in Bono’s words, “Grace makes beauty out of ugly things.”
