ATTITUDE… OR GRATITUDE?
From the Ego’s Operating System
to the Soul’s Perspective

Some years ago, Ron and I stopped in at our favorite Starbucks and saw a handprinted banner a barista had posted: “Gratitude makes what you have enough.” We both had the same response… humbled by this simple truth that moved us into Presence. God’s notes to Self can be found everywhere.
It happens a dozen times a day. The traffic stalls… the call doesn’t come… someone says the very thing we wish they hadn’t… And before we’ve said a word, an attitude arrives. So often it sounds like the ego’s familiar anthem: “I’m upset because…”
And right there, a choice is present. Attitude… or Gratitude?
Viktor Frankl called it “the last of the human freedoms”: to choose one’s attitude in any given set of circumstances. An attitude is simply the lens of perception… Gratitude lifts us from the ego’s myopic, dualistic, good/bad, right/wrong point of view to the loving neutrality of the Soul.
Gratitude is the memory of the Heart. Sometimes it is childlike… chocolate ice cream, a cozy sweater, a favorite meal. Sometimes it is the Grace of good health, family, and friends. And sometimes it is the High Self’s Gratitude for being Awake… for the lessons of the Earth School… for Soul Moments… for the Grace of Healing something for the last time. Gratitude lifts the Heart; it ignites both possibility and purpose. Suddenly the world is beautiful again.
As we move into the season of Thanksgiving, what if Gratitude becomes less seasonal… more perennial… a Way of Seeing… a Way of Being… a Way of Life?

The Journey of a Soul provides infinite opportunities for knowing your Self as the Beloved residing in the Infinity of Loving beyond space and time. Soul Time With Mary is intended as one of these opportunities. We gather with the intention of transcending space and time as we know them in the Earth School. Through entering Spiritual Reality—Soul Space and Soul Time—the ego’s story and the illusion of the separate self are seen for the learning devices they are.
Recognized and appropriately utilized, these experiences become steppingstones to the transcendent—epiphanies… creative Inspirations… realization of our Divinity… and opportunities for seeing through Soul-Centered Eyes… and experiencing the Infinity of God’s Love. The Beauty of the entire human experience, when viewed from this perspective, brings forward Infinite Compassion, a deepening Acceptance of our shared HU-manity, and a sense of Awe and Wonder as we open our Spiritual Eyes. In fact, nothing less than a shift of identification is available.
Soul Time With Mary is intended as an oasis, nurturing and nourishing your experience of the eternal wellspring of Loving and Wisdom within you.
